Overall, a good new ATB album ...

Andre Tannenberger aka ATB sets out three years after the release of his last album before with "Contact" a new and at the same time his first album on Kontor Records. And Andre Tannenberger has remained mostly faithful on his latest work, with regard to the production and the structure of the songs and the whole album. As several previous albums including "Contact" appears in the normal edition as a double CD.
On the first CD, which contains 14 tracks, the basic orientation is electronically danceable. Synth sounds alternate with dance tracks and phases also trance influences. Solid unobtrusive soundscapes inferior the individual pieces, including the sympathetic Mastermind has once again invited many guest singers. And by the different vocal enrichments of songs by artists like Stanfour, Sean Ryan, Boss And Swan, TAYLR or Vanessa, gets the main album of the first CD in addition to the already well-known musical many innovative and invigorating vocal variety.
While listening to the first CD you get the feeling of being stranded somewhere between the early 90s and the middle of the last decade in the dance timelessness. Familiar are the arrangements, altbewehrt and thus without much risk. But nevertheless pleasant and always changed in moderation, that one always has the feeling that they see or hear an old acquaintance from slightly different angles.
The second CD reflects the quiet contemplative side of Andre Tannenberger resist. Recorded in his little Second Studio, the hustle and bustle of daily processing, so a second CD with twelve beautifully balanced Ambient and Chillout sounds has been created that you can enjoy at any time again and thus slow down our own everyday lives. Overall, a good new ATB album that is entertaining, not only because of the diversity of its two recordings.
