First of all, be said that the grill pan is extremely small. Substituting the pan in the Airfryer XL, ring remains around the pan, a very large, untapped distance to Airfryer. I suppose that this will be required for air circulation, since the pan as such is indeed equipped with several air outlets but far fewer of the circulating hot air is let in Airfryer when the "open" standard cooking basket. Thus, only an extremely small area for the food remains - much smaller than I would have suspected it when Airfryer XL.
It did not succeed, so to produce with the grill pan so-called "branding" grill marks on my flesh. Thus, no more roasted aromas, as in the preparation of the same piece of meat in the standard cooking basket arise. The bottom line is I can on the grill pan considerably less than in the cooking basket and cook get this no other results.
Good is only the anti-stick coating, the zulasst a quick cleaning the pan.
Thus, this product is for me superfluous, unfortunately I have overestimated it and think it's grossly overpriced.
