In some discussions on film and book, I noticed that people watch with apparent drug experiences, the book as a realistic representation, keep people with less or even no drug experience the presentation of intoxication for absolutely covered.
I'm divided on one hand, I might view the book as a kind of art form, if it was actually full Plated fiction. So I could then the whole event to concede a certain significance. But Fear and Loathing is dubbed as roman à clef, which means that the book is based on real events, even if the name and other details have been partially changed.
According to conventional wisdom, it is in the first-person narrator to the author himself. And thus we come to the other hand. On the other hand, I can see in the acting figures only two idiots intoxicated senseless driving through the area and throw stuff.
And precisely because the two drug-addicted people who are there at some point down in the reality through the desert Las Vegas certainly not great and not seriously in a position to do were to think about the problems of various subcultures and their expiration after, I think it is absurd in find the book such a high form of criticism.

Maybe I'm a humorless person, but for a laugh it was not enough, not even for a smile.
It may be that, instead of a social critique so wanted to create something like the equivalent of a trash film. So bad that you have to laugh to keep from crying, but the writing style was far too bland and even the provocative details to mediocre and the overall design just too profane.
Conclusion:
In the end it boils down to that I have with these 240 pages (or there are only 204, the rest are biography and annotations) my time've wasted and leaving only a strong Fremdschämen and dare urge to shake his head.
For me there is just things that I can do without principle. I have enough vices in life.
You can tell that I'm a bit angry and at times deliberately exaggerating in this slating. My advice on this book yet. There are plenty of really good modern classics.
