Uninteresting story and rather annoying 3D

After I was impressed by the first 2 Crossed-books, I've dared me to Crossed 3D. Unfortunately, I found this ultimately rather than disappointing overall package.
Let's start with the 3D effect. This was like to have been intended as a nice gimmick, but it ensures that you can not concentrate on details and on the other hand it interferes with the flow of reading massive.
Disappointing as the 3D was actually only the absolutely boring story, in which all the protagonists are not nu pale, but almost transparent. While this may also be because the story this time is unusually short, but should include a brief history may not provide an excuse for a poor.

CONCLUSION:
Very disappointing CROSSED band.
