In order to facilitate the prospective searching I have down here once written an overview of the various routers.
It must be said that the original Huawei have all the features, but the branded appliances partly in the functional scope (usually rather unimportant functions) are circumcised. The advantages of the Telekom or Vodafone branded devices is in any case a German user interface, german manual and at least for the newer devices full telephone support by the manufacturer.
Huawei provides 5 devices during the Telekom and Vodafone have skipped a generation in each case:
Huawei B-390s 2 = Telekom Speedport LTE = Vodafone B1000
Huawei B 593u-12 = Telekom Speedport LTE II = Vodafone B2000
Huawei B-593s 12 = Telekom Speedbox LTE II =
Huawei B-593s 22 = = Vodafone B3000
Huawei B 5186s-22a = Telekom Speedbox LTE III = Vodafone B4000
(Typo may be retained; o). Note: the last generation Huawei B5186 and Vodafone are hardly available in Germany, as Telekom LTE III indeed available, but very expensive, hardly tested and probably involve me teething.
All in all is probably the Huawei B-593s 22 the penultimate generation the most recommended device.

So now an addendum to have received the part (B593s-22) and had massive problems to connect to a Vodafone LTE card me to the Internet, that problem was the SIM card has been detected, and the router was also associated with LTE network ( blue icon). I also was with LAN cable into the router menu 192.168.1.1. If everything was clear should work yes then, right? Pustekuchen the Internet icon in the router menu was grayed out when not connected (although was with the LTE network connection!).
I must say that I previously a Vodafone B1000 (ie a branded Huawei B390s-2) router had with everything ran smoothly! The tested here B593s-22 corresponding to yes as described above the branded Vodafone B3000 so I thought should everything be OK.
Hab hours rumgewurschtelt incl. Router reset, etc. Nothing helped. What makes me suspicious but was under the Internet -.> APN Settings stood event.vodafone.de Google revealed then the APN but this only applies to prepaid offers, but I have an LTE contract. For contract customers, the APN applies web.vodafone.de. Unfortunately, that did not work well, but at that time I did not know how I was close to the solution.
The next day, ie called the Vodafone hotline and there was a pretty snappy-but hartnäckigen- hotline staff. After we had a rumgeeiert hours I have myself asked if it might be at the wrong end APM. Because it was then, the correct APN is namely: fixed.data.vodafone.de. But beware that's just the APN for pure data tariffs, which reads data for APN + Telephony I think fixed.voice.vodafone.de (no guarantee!).
My vermutng is that the Vodafone branded devices (B1000, B2000, B3000) have the firmware manipulated so that the correct APN will be automatically assigned by the SIM card. But this tested B593s-22 is open, and has indeed automatically assigned an APN which was but just plain wrong. I would however prefer because the 2 analog phone ports (RJ11) and also the USB port, unlike the B3000 which has only 4x LAN (Addendum: does not, see below) - but that is not necessarily the one with the Huwaei can telefnieren also. These recommended Vodafone exclusively Easybox 904 LTE, but what I think is crap).
If someone has managed the Huawei B593s-2 also can make phone calls like the post here (or with the B2000 or 3000, see below).
Anyway, so the APN is changed: the router in the browser menu 192.168.11. then click Internet ---> APN management -> Add. then enter the profile name (user-selectable) for my sake "LTE properly", then APN "fixed.data.vodafone.de" user name and password can give her free. Authentication to "automatic". But then do not forget then assign the new profile under "Netztwerkverbindungen", otherwise works not.
I think it will be for other providers as well. Please pay attention on it but that one and the same provider according to rausgibt so different APNs! The APN must necessarily suit your collective or your SIM card. Are you an overzealous hotline staff the wrong APN it not funzt even though you are so close to the solution already!
Addendum:. My Information regarding the rear ports on the B3000 is not correct. Only the Vodafone B1000 has only 4 LAN ports at the back, both of B2000 including the B3000 both rear 4x LAN + 2 phone jacks and a USB input are therefore identical to the original Huawei! At least the connections are physically present if they can be used so also (depending on the provider) in another matter!
