Over a very interesting blog ([...]) I came to Diaper Dude. Had a look at the smaller versions, but acting on the pictures much, much bigger than they really are, so I've finally keep the big version.
Unlike anything I've seen in diaper bags, the Diaper Dude has thoughtful Compartments for everything. Part inside and partly outside, some with Velcro or zipper. in the pockets on the body, for example, fits an iPad 1A, next door or the like a kid-screen or a 0.5 liter bottle of water in the smaller
The outer pockets have eg exactly measure a pack wet wipes - coincidence or internationally standardized? I do not know ... in the flat zip pockets can fine the vaccination card, get KV card and other documents under.
On the short side, there is a slot for a (nother) vials for Papa and / or the little ones.
The main compartment has inside two mesh pockets - here fit diapers and changing mats clean. Oh yes - there is a pad included, but ... well ... but go I usually disposable documents there. Anyone who could wrap at Kaufhof, knows why.
Included are also two short slings with carabiners, which are intended for attachment to the stroller. They were too short in our (Hartan Racer), but now serve as a pretty nice keychain.
The belt is now not the most-most-convenient, but goes so far. The adjustable shoulder pad I first once sewn did - otherwise slip the Ruck-Zuck. The cell phone pocket on the strap is a nice gimmick, but holds only just sooo an iPhone 4S.
The build quality is very solid - there's nothing to complain about. The magnets should be kept closed, the top flap, do not work 100% so if you pack more than a postage stamp in the lid compartment.
All in all I am very satisfied - one or the other detail could be improved further in the context of the product, really to complain about Essenzielles but there is nothing!
The available designs are a matter of taste. As "Spätgebährender" I found Fleckentarn and skulls initially indeed very funny, but - well ... if you like it! ;-)
