For this I must first hold that the Galaxy S4 while the Qi technology but supports the receiver for this has not installed at the factory. So I created the Aukey Internal Qi Inductive Charging Receiver for Samsung Galaxy S4 same with acquired me.
The charger comes in a small cardboard box in which even a plug adapter and user manual are in addition to the charger. This is available in German, English and French and is for me very well illustrated and described.
The charger is simply connected for commissioning with the socket adapter or via USB to the PC. Class I I find here that the cable will coiled at eg transport to the charger can and USB connector on the back is clicked. This means no more tangled wires.
The willingness of the charging station is indicated by a LED. This light red in standby and when the phone is hung up, this LED flashes red / green. In addition, a message appears that it is loaded on the phone. This funzt on a locked screen.
The charge cycles with my S4 now not noticeably slower and I could find no great heating of the batteries. While the phone is slightly warm but that happens when you download via the USB port.
What bothers me a bit is the cable length. This is just enough to 60cm, for my situation (office desk).
An absolute minus point is the fact that the charging station on the bottom does not have rubber studs. So slipping all when placing or removing the cell phones definitely something across the table. In the N11 variant, this is probably not the case.
Conclusion:
Those looking for something different to his cell supply power to and do not want to have recourse to a dock can not get to the Qi chargers. When the N12 from Aukey would still feature rubber studs on the back, I would recommend it without objection. But if it gets only 4 stars and the reference to the N11.
