Bought for use my TV as a secondary display (streaming, youtube, etc.).
The very thick cable and the gold contacts are that there is no loss of signal. The length is more than adequate for home use. I recommend this product for those with a VGA port on the TV, but no HDMI port on the PC. (Mine is too old, but it is enough for the internet.
