After an atmospheric intro (as always ;-)) follows the usual mix of faster Abgehnummern ("Fly To The Moon", "Losing The Game"), melodic mid-tempo rockers ("Rock The Nation", "Living A Lie") , power ballads ("No Chance To Live") and atmospheric, anthemic epics ("Mystica", "The Curse Of The Damned") - all finished with the world-class singing Johnny Gioelis.
Unlike recent albums since "Oceans Of Time" (1998), there is the first time in a classically inspired instrumental piece. The only slightly weaker song is in my opinion "Valley Of Sin", the somewhat weakens the chorus.
Overall, I feel the album, contrary to the frequently expressed opinion not as harder as compared to the last album "Kings And Queens" (2004), but would rather say that the album even in the direction of quieter "Shadow Zone" (2002) is, since for example, not Pell-typical up-tempo track of brand "Earls Of Black" or "Flyin 'High" is represented.
The bottom line, however, is once again come out with an album that EVERY Pell fan should be satisfactory, as has been omitted as usual surprises - even if the album does not reach to the in my opinion best album "Kings And Queens".
