This Blu-Ray player perfectly fulfills its functions, ie read blurays and DVD (which is no problem), more USB devices can read NTFS and FAT32 (I do not have tried for other formats) and read both formats as .avi .mkv what few manage to do as well as this one.
By against-the reader is not provided with an HDMI cable but we are warned in advance but for me the HDMI cable ordered for this Blu-Ray player did not work (this is the cable LCS - ORION - 2M - Cable HDMI 1.4 - PROFESSIONAL but the problem was the cable, not the device so buy without fear.
As always I was delivered very quickly by Amazon so kudos to Amazon and Sony.
