I pulled on a model (ME302C) with only 16 GB, still less than 300 without discount and 50 from Italy. The 16GB capacity is not a problem in itself. More than enough to start and later, if need memory, a micro SDHC 16GB Class 10 mark, is far from cost a fortune (a big ten)!
So this morning, first contact.
First regret in the box, no female connector micro USB / USB classic female. What allowed to connect a USB key or external hard drive, for example. You've got to have one in your drawer bottoms or order one immediately. It costs a few euros! I do not understand that ASUS did not join him in the box ...
Second regret: the USB cable supplied to charge the tablet or connect to a PC: noticeably too short. Again, drawer bottoms. And if you do not have to change quite quickly.
Third regret: the manual. It's simple, there are none. Just some pictures to show the location of the connectors ... If it does my no problem because I know Android, I imagine the head of grandpa or grandma who received this Christmas gift tablet! This semblance of instruction is also only in Italian industrial gentlemen, it is in Europe, damn it!

Fourth regret but this one is recurring in all tablet manufacturers: If it is very easy to take a tablet of 7 "in hand, it's not quite the same for a 10". And you better have an inclined stand to hold the tablet. There in the box, but so unstable that it should not carry the media name. Consider buying one worthy of the name and a protective case. There are not too expensive.

Suite and Tablet tests.
Getting very fast hand. Very simple configuration since you already have a Google account (for access to the Play Store). Snap great WIFI.
Excellent screen if not disconcerting ease to retain fingerprints! Mandatory Chiffonnette (glossy screen requires).
The programs / tools offered by Asus are few but well chosen and effective. One regret: no "pack" word processing, spreadsheets etc. pre-installed. We had to go fishing on the Play Store, fortunately well supplied.
I found in Gallery with happiness and without any intervention my photos and albums on Picasa previously charged. Screen test in passing: excellent rendering.
The battery keeps his promises (and load!). By cons, rather long cooldown.
SHIFT Asus have done without my intervention (new version of Android).
