Many TVs have mitlerweile the possibility via USB to record the program (and more). For our new Samsung 65 inch with UltraHD I was looking for a way to extend the USB port, so that the hard disk does not butt the TV must be attached cumbersome and I also have the opportunity to exchange the plate against another, or USB flash drive (for movies play or photos).
Works perfectly in a 2.5-inch disk on TV. Now the hard disk has disappeared in the cupboard under the TV.
