I've had for 12 years a Logitech MX310 (wired) I was very happy: 5 buttons, a normal form but nice, no complaints (except 2 or 3 layers of parts ...) - but the wheel eventually let go. So I shot a Logitech to replace but I had had enough of the mouse over, which I find very often inconvenient. I saw it wirelessly with a good rating, for 10 euros: not much to lose. I've had a few days and I must say it is great. Admittedly, the plastics are not the high end, and the build quality is not one of Logitech, which makes highly reliable products either, but the coatings are not terrible (on their keyboards, letters often start). This TeckNet has a small hatch under the mouse, where the 2 AAA batteries are housed. This hatch break, sure, we already see before the first opening where it will break, but it will surely bricolable ... If you are right handed, the mouse has a perfect shape, and my medium sized hands are perfectly comfortable with. There is no button to the right (except for the classic right, of course), but there are two thumb and two in the index, and this is frankly a good thing. Very quickly get used to it, even after 12 years on a different mouse. The dial is clearly not the same invoice as my Logitech but it works ... we'll see for how long. I arrive at the "tilter" but not to the right to the left, I do not know if this is normal but I never use this feature anyway. The "DPI" button on the top is very simple: each press changes the sensitivity of the mouse ... very easy and no manual required. I did not use software for programming the buttons and I have not played with the mouse so I do not know if the buttons are actually programmable. I will update my review if disappointment.
The best for last: I used between an old Microsoft IntelliMouse not so intelligent that it would not listen different surfaces I had to offer him ... my white office paper, magazine ... only used my pants (or so a mouse pad, but I do not have on hand). The TeckNet it, works wonders on all these surfaces! And that, it changed my life! It slides perfectly and is very fluid. A big relief because no mouse pad here.
The sleep is alone and a single click is enough to bring it back to life. An on-off switch is also available under the mouse. One question: Will the reliability at the rendezvous? I doubt it but we'll see. If it lasts less than 3 years then the next will be another Logitech. Better to spend 3 times but do not be bothered, and not pollute the planet with mouse placed in the trash heap ...
