The champagne corks fit perfectly on my Exel poles, are quiet, soft and function especially on any surface. On my lap I standard asphalt, cobblestones, concrete paving, grass, wood stairs, Ash sand-way and currently many fallen leaves. With normal rubber pads you slide out the latest on the leaves, but the champagne corks to keep the grip. These properties even lead to visible wear, but thanks to the ingenious shape I turn the pads after each round a little and it can wear out as evenly.
