Class atmosphere, the graphics are very well done (OK, every other tree in the forest, and every other rock face is a clone, but that does not detract from the overall appearance). The story is small and exquisite but so captivating interwoven with the game that you just want to know how it goes and what it does with all the strange incidents themselves. The investigation will lead us to the dissolution, therefore feel very real, because you will not be taken by the hand and led (as the game promises already in the opening credits). Our advancement depends not insignificant of our patience and our joy from exploring. There are no flashy venues that literally scream, here are the next hotspots needed to get ahead. The area you really need to thoroughly explore to be able to find and makes for a very realistic feeling while playing. Even feel the mental abilities of our protagonists at very consistent. Here, the developers had a really good sense of not drifting spite of supernatural elements into kitsch or untrustworthiness. The game is very exciting from the start and has actually offer some sweaty moments as well imaginative mind-bending puzzles, where the puzzles ansich not so in the foreground. It is the experience and any further step that brings us closer to solving the case, which is the focus here. Despite the fact leisurely pace (which personally is a big plus for me) maintained the suspense until the end. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a small but very fine Okkultthriller of gets under your skin. Only negatives for me were the lack of free storage and the something small playing time, but that's for me is no reason to deduct a star, the complete works convinced me in every aspect and I would recommend it without hesitation.
