Addendum: Meanwhile, I've read that some users are of the opinion, the balaclava would not warm enough. I can thus state that this either the hood using false or impossible expect from her only. The balaclava is primarily to protect the face, because the face is the kälteunempflichste body region and is therefore usually with increasing cold covered last. Of course, this balaclava does not replace a warm and windproof mögichst helmet under-cap such as Vaude Windproof Cap. So first balaclava, then helmet cap over it and then the helmet on top. Who now still on the face or head cold, is perhaps simply not cut out for Central European winter, and should consider, to spend these months rather in southern climes :-)
On the subject lens fogging: Cheap Radbrillen tend at low temperatures often to mist up. Here it helps most to choose a different model with good constructive ventilation and fog-inhibiting glass coating. Alternatively, there is also in the field of motorcycle accessories remedies to apply to prevent fogging of helmet visors and goggles. But this means only help temporarily. Also possible, but not quite as effective to wet the lenses regularly with a little detergent is.
Some write here that they go in the winter due to the problems with the fogging easily without glasses. Of this I can from my own experience only strongly advise against. Later than the first departure the eyes begin to water, which then in the cold wind can quickly lead to painful inflammation of the eyes.
I hope I could help!
