I knew nothing of the Japanese, not saying a word, write anything. I bought this method to write and another with a CD to speak. With a little patience, work, a method and a memory, you do it! I used cardboard pieces with one hand, the "symbol" and the other the associated syllable and I insisted insisted to remember. Well explained method, progressive and friendly, I recommend.
