This keyboard serves me for many activities: play, write text and chat and it fulfills its role in all these cases. It is not too noisy (this is my first mechanical keyboard and finally it is not so much noisier than a keyboard "traditional"). It makes typing faster and more comfortably. The backlight is adjustable over several levels. The lowest level is very practical, because without dazzling, it allows to distinguish the keys. The dial to manage the sound is useful. I do not use the macro. I feel that the media keys can be used only when the logitech software is launched. Attention addition, the latest software to date malfunctioning at home: the backlight becomes maximum at each restart. So I use an older version that does not have this problem. But the keyboard can anyway be used "normally" without this software. To finish on the hardware, the materials are of good quality, except for the palm rest which is more "cheap". The keyboard support is glossy and not matte (damage). It takes two USB ports, but a socket is available on the keyboard, which compensates for the gene. In summary, very pleased with this keyboard.
