Use the charger for a Nexus 5 and an iPad Air - both reliably and quickly charged, unless I use the original power cable. The power supply unit is in this case not even particularly warm. The price / performance ratio I would describe as excellent.

For redundant I think the blue LED, the but the night amazing vigorously illuminated the surrounding area. Bedside suitability is not given so far. But through clever positioning of the charging unit or a view blocker (book ...) which is not really a problem. :-)
