At first a few times used the backlight, but quite rare. The lighting can be divided into 4 levels of brightness operate, in addition the stage "lighting out". Works fine, everything white on each key to see is lit, in addition a little glow around the keys. The typing feel is very pleasant and feels like the entire keyboard, very valuable in! Nothing rattles or shakes, making it easy to type fun with it. The small size (as low height) very well bring in my bag for MacBook Air (the bag is Belkin and has a zipper, because then fit MacBook Air power adapter, this keyboard, recharger for this keyboard and "Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter "for MacBook in).
The "pairing" Bluetooth with Windows notebook and MacBook Air works perfectly and very simple - you get an I believe the 6-digit code displayed on the monitor which then this keyboard has to be typed in, then press "Enter" - done. With the mobile phone / TV ichs not tried.
per:
- 8h / day use for 2 months and only once charged (immediately after purchase). Battery charge status is still "good" appear with
- Automatic switching the backlight when hand hovering over the keyboard or at the latest when the first keystroke is works fine
- The automatic dimming the keyboard backlight (. Begins after 3 seconds to) when the sensor no hand "recognize" is stylish vonstatten, ie it dims continuously continues down until it is out
- No idea how the sensor for switching on the lights worked and where he sits, but it works sensational! On mobile phone and on my monitor one sees these photodiodes significantly (This wine red point), here at the keyboard you can see absolutely nothing. Perfect! Covered at the top, ie the left and right of the Logitech lettering initially, would be the FotoLED, but the lighting also has been going on when the hand hovering just above the keyboard, so "from below, from the space bar" comes forth.
- They exist even as a "Mac-version", ie instead of Windows Button then the Command Button and one or two other buttons. However, in the photos very bright looking brushed aluminum not liked there. In this one I would even like a single color, the color difference from the black plastic is already clearly there at the top for brushed aluminum below, but it still goes.
Cons:
- Very few buttons with "Logitech SetPoint software" can be programmed individually, I think there are only 3 pieces. But whatever.
