Customer Review

On this occasion, I take time at the chance to take up the cudgels for the 'new' Tangerine Dream. It is now just so that they publish for the Le Parc in 1985 albums with short pieces, from many a even disparaged as "elevator music" titled. Also like many of my old albums, such as Force Majeure or Tangram very good, but Tangerine Dream has managed to music in the form of short 4 minutes -. To create pieces that is anything but banal or trivial. It is here that shows their musical quality, since they succeed, never slipping into embarrassment, shallow New Age monotony, but consistently to create compact and mostly rhythmic, supported by great vitality and incredibly melodic, sometimes melancholic music.
And - they do not get bored even after 50. Listen. The music is switched on, but never intrusive, you can hear them while doing other things as well as to relax.
Since I am a "Die Hard" Klaus Schulze fan myself am, I may be the following remark probably erlauben- comparisons, who now makes deeper or more challenging music, really, go here now to nothing, how can you as concept and content so far apart Music such. B "Fools of Fortune" or "Heinrich von Kleist" and a piece of CD discussed here can not function comparative. For me, both exist, each for their "intended use" perfectly side by side. Whoever seeks instumentelle music of this kind, which is very well served as well with the following TD CDs - similar are discussed here: Melrose, Rockoon, Tyranny of Beauty, Destination Berlin, Optical Race, Underwater Sunlight, Le Parc, Goblins Club.
Tip is "Tyger" set to music poems by the English poet William Blake simply of sublime beauty.
