I find shaver with cleaning cartridges on most skin-friendly, I had the very first Braun shaver with cleaning station (7570). After a short trip to Panasonic (ES8109) with the local cleaning system I'm ruefully returned to Brown.
Good:
+ Perfect Shave is, the Panasonic ES8109 equal (is to say Brown has caught up).
+ Very good cleaning system, which is really by dressing and permanently hygienic. In comparison: Panasonic the tank for cleaning liquid is reused, after a short time formed in inaccessible places comic deposits that can not be removed. The system of brown alcohol-based I think is the best. But not without pitfalls, see below.
Less well:
- We're talking about the top product of the 7 series, Made in Germany, 5 years warranty. Even more upsetting that already dissolves at the back of the razor chrome plating slowly. I suspect, by ascending solvent vapors from the cleaning cartridge. That was at 7570 so not that always stood in the charging / cleaning station and looked after many years like new.
- It would not be that raussiffen on the long sides of the shaving blade over time oil and hair residues. I put the thing in the daily cleaning station, just so that it is clean. This problem was not the 7570.
- Shaving foil and shaving head are housed in one unit and therefore only switch together - will cost every 18 months 50 euros extra.
Granted, this is whining at a high level. The main task of shaving done the 795 CC perfectly. That's why even a point deduction.
