I'm a big fan of Lana Del Rey and love 'Born To Die', 'Paradise' and their contributions to soundtracks, most recently 'Once Upon A Dream' from 'Maleficient'. But this album is better than anything they have produced so far. An extremely homogeneous, organic album, where you can lose yourself and yet is packed with variety and ingenuity. I do not know how many times I have heard the disc now; but many, many times; and it is from time to time 'deeper'. It's hard to describe what it has since packed into words and music. So I'll try not continue, I can not imagine that someone can be disappointed with this album. I hear very different style of music and my (almost) everything has a right to exist, but Lana is for me the hero of the current music scene and era. Only the song 'The Other Woman' I find inappropriate for 'Ultraviolence' and generally rather poor. "Random" is then also the only one who does not come from her pen. But a less good titles, depending on the publication, up to 16 is more than a good cut for an album. Even if one sets high standards à la del Rey.
