A book written by an amateur and it is precisely to both his strength and his problem. His strength as we often see books we are introduced that requires technical equipment which the price is quite prohibitive even in entry-level. True to crop a body with a jigsaw approach seems more DIY than another, but just an amateur will most willingly with it rather than using a band saw. It is therefore more interesting to explain the method with jigsaw. There is also very good explanation on the use of a router and I particularly noted the so-called inclusion, completely absent (or so) of other work of this type. So we read carefully all the little techniques that populate the pages of this book. Much of reading is also interesting in terms of formulas, this remains accessible (just THALES theorem for example) often unnecessary for many but will avoid tracing errors, I think, especially in drawing the key.
Its major problem is precisely that on many points it is unclear and inefficient, certainly this book explains the manufacture of microphones May let's be honest, given the mechanical meter used, it should not exceed 100 revs / min with the drill (which we made about 1h and 40 min for a single coil) to be about right and this is an example of many other. For all this I would put that 3/5, he is 4 or 5 for clarity (in addition you can have video and help a site very useful) but loses 2 points for every failure and techniques sometimes not reliable in use. I recommend all the same but it must then go further.
