Perfect to the Canon 300/4 L IS fits

I use this panel to a Canon L 300/4 IS. Here it fits perfectly. On the (original) of the clamps 70-200 / 4 L IS or 100 / 2.8 L IS macro, which have a shorter bearing surface, I find it, however, not so well suited and will continue to use Sirui standard plates here. Best fits the TY-LP75, when the tripod mount on the trailing edge passes with a 90 ° angle to the vertical. Many newer Canon clamps have unfortunately a 45 ° bevel, so that the rear stopper edges of the board will not get as good support.

The TY-LP75 is thinner than the standard plates supplied with Sirui heads. But she has no rubber pads and must be strictly tightened with the enclosed Allen. After that, they will not budge. Even without a condom it leaves no traces of paint, which was important to me.

Well, I think that the front plate has rounded edges so they can be easily inserted into the Arca shot of head. Due to their thinness, they can remain permanently mounted easily and hardly disturbs. Even with the plate fits 300/4 L IS still well in the standard quiver.
