performs well, but is broken after only 7 months

nice fast can you thin strips thus cut (carrots, apples, cucumber, zucchini, ginger, kiwi). Also zest of limes, oranges lemons were so very possible. Unfortunately, after 7 months a plan has emerged, otherwise it would get 5 stars.

If interesting: We have had the peeler in the dishwasher, but I do not think that has led to the fast break. In November 2013, we bought a peeler Victorinox (7.6075 Universal peeler).

I must say that I like this unit better. Besides the fact that it has maintained with us for more than 7 months, the handle is more comfortable and faster. We use the peeler still and are very satisfied.
