Positives:
- The plant is due to its dimensions really compact and is also used in limited space place.
- The sound is very good (I'm not a Soundspezi, but what I hear, you can not complain about it)
- The design, which is at the forefront in this system, is really noble because of the removable veneers.
- Up-to-date features such as Bluetooth are present and functioning properly (tested with a HTC One M8)
Negatives:
- The control buttons on the top of the system look cheap and do not have a nice tactile feedback. (I tend to the system with the supplied remote control to use, then annoys you also do not always have this lousy buttons;.))
- The establishment of radio stations designed to be fiddly. This could have been solved easily.
- The "manual" is also in need of improvement.
Conclusion:
All in all, it is the Philips BTM5000 / 12 mini-compact system is a good compact system with a very good sound and a clever design idea.
The negative points tarnish the overall impression little. If you look at the price, however, the plant in which criticisms are actually already an impertinence. This must not be yet. Therefore star deduction.
I would buy the plant for its advantages yet again.
