Philips HP6578 / 00 Epilator SatinPerfect 2-in-1 included Bikiniepilierer (battery) (Health and Beauty)

Customer Review

This review is primarily intended for those people who deal before buying a new epilator with the fundamental question of whether they should establish a model of Philips, or brown.

Preliminary a few words about epilation:
I epiliere all hairy parts of the body since puberty. My few "Fremdgeh experiments" with a razor (whether electronically or manually) ended each time in a hopeless disaster. ... And always took me to the question: Why do women shave voluntarily if there is the alternative of epilation ??
For me personally, there are points x, which speak against the shaving: Daily time investment, really smooth result for just half a day, practically continually unsightly stubble visible - especially if hand shaver also the risk of cuts. All in all, simply an unsatisfactory thing.
The main argument of bitter epilator opponent (s), namely the pain, for me personally was never one thing: It is the new generation of epilators is designed so that at best the first few times a light tweet (and it's really a lightweight tweet, " pain "is an entirely different category) is palpable. At the latest after half a year is not even anything about it felt!
The only region of the body where there is admittedly really hurts is the bikini line. And I would advise for depilation of this to all women for Waxing.
Generally Waxing is anyway a very good option, however, is this (at home use) requires a certain amount of experience and a certain skill. External Waxing is holding relatively expensive - and you always have to first make an appointment.
All in all there's for me only a really satisfactory way with respect to the topic of "hair away": A good, modern epilators - for which I am also willing to invest a certain amount of money.
Over the years to x epilators were in my possession, Philips, like von Braun.
Have also tried of epilator Babyliss - all very appealing from the design, absolutely and totally useless from a technical point. Hands off!
Unfortunately never have convinced me that Eplierer Panasonic because I could also no recommendation for.

One of the best epilators, which I had over the years, was a relatively simple model of Philips - even without spotlight and all that stuff - with knobs essay!
These studs have made sure that the skin was still massaged correctly and then really was totally smooth. As a pleasant side effect, they stimulated the skin so that you could feel the tweet practically zero.
All told me the epilator from Philips actually getting more convinced than those from Braun.
And yet my last model was then a Brown epilators, the Silk Epil.
-> So Brown makes basically good epilator - and I would even go so far that I say that for beginners the epilator epilator from Braun are actually slightly better than those of Philips. The latest epilator of the Silk-Epil generation are good, among other things, visit the model, with which you can epilate in the shower (for example, a function that so far, no Philips epilator has), or then there is indeed new and this Shaving -Epilier-Epilerer, with such a special attachment.
That's just dumb bells and whistles, yet most interesting thing is that old skin cells are "peeled off" by the razor practically, so he has so little a peeling function.
Otherwise, does nothing, the hair then grow back just as quickly after, as regular shaving.

Myself the Silk-Epil has simply never quite fully convinced and so I'll have four weeks before me - despite the existence of functioning - decided to separate myself from the Silk-Epil and finally to upgrade back to Philips.
I opted for the latest model of Philips specifically for the kit with all accessories (Gesichtsepilierer, tweezers with light).
New to the Philips epilators now is that the tweezers are no longer made of metal but ceramic.
This has made me very critical first, I could imagine at the beginning not so that really equally good and "grip" as those made of metal.
What convinced me finally the following: These ceramic discs are just not only catchy, but more importantly also help that one less of them has small, inflamed, red spots on the legs - which unfortunately practically were plentiful with me after each Epiliergang. ..
So I cleared my doubts first out of the way and ordered the model!

And I was simply amazed.

Personally, I can say: Between the Silk-Epil from Braun and the SatinPerfect Philips are worlds apart!
And I would definitely recommend that any woman who already has experience in relation on epilation and epilation regularly for some time, the SatinPerfect in any event before the Silk-Epil.

The reasons for this, and those points in which the SatinPerfect the Silk-Epil is in my opinion superior to lengths:
- The wide epilation: Caught thus in a shorter time much more hair than the Silk-Epil.
- The ceramic discs: I really hätts not thought - but simply awesome! I have after epilation with SatinPerfect now virtually no little red dots more and the rest since then much, much less problems with ingrown hairs !!
My skin tolerates this material is definitely better, it is also a total smoother and less irritated, as if I've epilated with metal tweezers.
- The pain factor: the tweet I really feel personally the Silk-Epil from Braun than about three times as much as in SatinPerfect Philips. I do not know if this is due, among other things with the ceramic discs. But I also know that many women seem to have made the opposite experience, at least according to the reviews on Amazon. Why this is so, I do not know - I feel in any case of epilation with SatinPerfect practically nothing!
- The result: Brown promises always that one with their epilators has four weeks silky smooth skin - the reality was at least with me always plenty of different. After a week already fine, re-growing hair, not later than a fortnight had to be depilated again.
Now, with the SatinPerfect, my skin is even after nearly four weeks practical nor completely smooth, single Häärchen have grown, see everything in all the legs still without hair on top of.
(Armpits must generally be depilated a little more often, with me once a week, so really everything is smooth.)
The hair seems to grow back finer than the Silk-Epil from Braun and a total of the skin remains smooth and hair-free longer definitely!

The Epilieraufsätze from SatinPerfect are good, there is one with which you can very easily "roll" through the skin, also back and forth and then a second essay, which virtually "lifting" the hair, also very good.
The shaving is working properly, for me personally also better than that of Brown.
The extras are cool, but I have to distribute at this point a point to Brown, in relation to the Gesichtsepilierer instead of Philips: This for the reason that the Silk-Epil has a Gesichtsepilierer essay, which simply been attached to the regular epilators - and then the thus just has this Spotlight feature. I thought that was really always very practical and for this reason I keep the Silk-Epil time being sometimes even more.
The SatinPerfect has its own, small Gesichtsepilierer with Mental tweezers. Works well - but I think now the system of brown but slightly better.

As an added extra then just see the tweezers with Spotlight: Since there is so little for me the problem is that I basically can pluck with tweezers, which are front straight. The Spotlight tweezers is however with sloping front and I think that by plucking rather difficult.
Otherwise, a great touch, most women use anyway rather slanted tweezers and then it is really super, also fits into a purse - and is well suited because it still contains a small mirror!
These little extras are cool, but I think that can also order the regular Satin Perfect set, without this additional accessories.

So, that was once so the most important thing!
In summary, I would give 3 to 3.5 points the Silk-Epil from Braun - the SatinPerfect Philips 4 to 5!

The SatinPerfect is a super epilator that meets my expectations in every way, or has even surpassed!
I recommend it to all those women who epilation for some time, know your body well and know how to deal properly with an epilator.
In this case, the SatinPerfect is a purchase, the absolute worth and an epilator, where there is nothing to complain about. (By the way, also works the battery well, the charged battery lasts about an hour, in which you can then epilate wirelessly.)
I hope I can make it easier with my report some still undecided something!
