"Get Behind Me Satan" is not "Elephant" and "Blue Orchid" is not "Seven Nation Army". Nevertheless, the White Stripes have not disappointed with their fifth album. This album is clearly advised bluesy than its predecessor, the bristled with said single or "The Hardest Button" with energy just so. The first single stands out here also by their energy. However annoying is at the end of the clumsy transition to Track 2. If you know all the albums of them and loves, then you will love this album. Apparently you love then also the blues of "De Stijl". Meg White is indeed no great drummer more skillfully, but Jack they controlled with the guitar in life. Some cases is but she manages to use the bass drum very powerful. However, the White Stripes devote to this album very intensively to the piano. A good album, though not a masterpiece.
