The PIR function works perfectly (5 stars) - tested up to 11 m. But the microwave function can forget! The recognition in the dual setting (PIR + MW) only works on max. 2-3 m, and even then not reliable. It remains only to disable the microwave with the DIP switches - but that's not really the point of the dual function. Therefore, unfortunately, only 2 stars. Incidentally, my 500 has previously been exchanged (Instar service in exchange and other questions: 5 stars !!!) - same result. And instar then tested my 500 extensively. Result: the low range has been confirmed, it is to be a general problem of 500. Tip of Instar: using PIR without MW, PIR but then together with the camera's internal motion detection ("Alarm / Actions" to "alarm input and ranges coupled") activate. How it works now quite reliable (and much better than without PIR), but I really wanted to use PIR + microwave ...
