I bought these thermos for holding therein the boiled water for my baby warm ... I forgive only one star -for the optics but that's about it! I have cleaned the thermos before first use with a mild detergent and then rinsed with boiled water. When I had the drinking water in it and it took me for the preparation of milk, came to me when you open the pot a disgusting smell against! It is clearly the plastic closure! All the water has then stunk ... mega evil! Annoying for as a "crap product" paid so much money to have! Unfortunately complaint is no longer, because I needed the pot until later (after weaning).
