This was my second choice in the PS3 bundle, and when compared to Uncharted as significantly worse more. Folklore comes up with a mystical-themed story, provides the potential for a really dense atmosphere. Unfortunately, this potential is being wasted in the bud, because there is (rarely) and normal beautifully animated cut scenes as well as cartoon-like animations that, however, must do without any speech. Similarly, the discussions, which are conducted with the individual characters. Technically outdated anyway, the (ultimately makes the Wii also a lot of fun) for me is not the decisive point. Rather, it simply wants to pay no atmosphere, it falls tremendously difficult to put themselves in the game. That it is better to show the "real" sequences. To make matters worse, that during the main game content (the fight against many opponents and capturing Folks) always small sections are traversed by about 2-3 minutes playing time. Then there is always a charge break of 5-10 seconds. The flow of the game becomes very disturbed. It applies per section usually to defeat an enemy troop. Should we now be the same route back, because you got lost, for example (which happens quite), the opponents come when re-entering the section immediately -. Also permanently extremely frustrating and annoying. Conclusion: Great potential that was unfortunately absolutely not used.
+ Nice graphics (Folks catch, which can be used as an attack) + game idea is something else + Good Story approaches
- Cutscenes without speech (atmosphere loss) - Extremely large loading pauses between the relatively small sections (every 2-3 min 5-10 sec.) - Opponents appear repeatedly when you enter a section again
