Listen So after several of the PTA, I would like to briefly reflect my personal impression. The album is in my opinion, well done, with a tendency towards very good. First of all I must say that I was not Exciter haters bin /. Those who hope in the PTA to comparisons with Violator or SOFAD which will certainly be a little disappointed. At the beginning of the album this kind comparisons were perhaps justified, but at the latest after the half of the album, there is more leisurely and quiet again. What in my view does not however mean that it is bad. In my opinion, Precious is the only song on the album, which will probably be relatively fast abnutze, possibly still APTIUT. The sound described by the band analog and organic sounding can I sign so, however, is lost by the variety of "weird" sounds and effects in many a title a little, the sound structure and one or two times, it sounds too forced and playful me . There are also plenty of ingenious melody lines that then but are reminiscent of earlier times one every now and then. However, more of the time before Black Celebration Those who are not from the public forums on various theater Depeche Mode sides can make crazy and the album sounds without bias, will certainly have a lot of fun with it! Here are my impressions of each song: A Pain That I'm Used To - Good song that me, the 3 x nervous but personally used coming DON sirens enormous (!). The structure would have fit well without these super Rating: good John The Revelator - a little "work" to leave after a few unmotivated input tones, a very beautiful, driving, yes slightly rockier sound, the live well is very good, the fans at the multiple repeated Bye-bye, bye-bye, John. The Revelator - Bye-bye, John the Revelator I see the Fanmasse formally already waving ... Grade: very good Suffer Well -really beautiful melodic piece with the strongest for me (but shallow) guitar riff and a great chorus. The guitar does not get out of my head! The Depeche Mode are the way you like! Potential Single! Grade: very good The Sinner In Me - also very nice, borne by the much-vaunted analogue synth basically song whose melody is unfortunately completely destroyed at the end by sensationalism or playfulness. Would otherwise probably chart technology! Rating: Good to very good trotzallem) Precious - well known, seems to me like a foreign body on the album! Still nice Chartsong Rating: good Macrovision - sung by Mart, with very calm beginning, but great chorus with Dave as the second voice. In this song you have to get in to hear what but quite succeed Rating: good I Want It All - quiet and pleasing song, created as Dave O) who likes getting better to me, the song O) Rating: good Nothing`s Impossible - very horny uptempo (for DM ratios) song (maybe even the best in PTA?), In which Dave's voice a little distorted, but incredibly sonorous comes along. Would you now go to a party and enter the hall if NI is running, it would be for any Depeche Mode fan immediately set the feeling of being at home! Grade: very good Demaged People - a song which I so far find no so proper access. He has what, but something about it bothers me currently. Can I find out more. As the saying goes, grows determined yet. Rating: good Lillian - the song that has caused me disappointed by the preliminary reports, but a little. Actually has everything a good song needs (beautiful chorus, etc.), but in the verses Dave's voice just seems overwhelmed and limited, which is not absolutely true for the rest of the album! My tip - goes not live! Rating: Satisfactory The Darkest Star - beautiful, really well-structured and constructive song, but whenever one begins to indulge in the song, is shattered by a terrible downright gloomy piano melody fragment. Do not know what to say, the song has cool moments, but I've really suffered physically .... A similar feeling I had whenever DON has taken out all dreams me at the exciter. Rating: good (has trotzallem what) So, hopefully I could convey to you my impressions with a little bit of music and say again, it's a great album, as I did a year ago could not have imagined. The instrumentals I once left out, being on the PTA are really unnecessary for me the first time, as somehow inconsequential. Dave Allen's critics a little wind now should be taken out of the sails, because all the pieces like (me)!
