Overall, a nice collection; the early songs by Marianne Faithfull I like really good. The ballad "As Tears Go By", written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, is really great, they quickly became a catchy tune. The song has a great atmosphere. After tantamount my absolute favorite: "Come And Stay With Me" (1965) from the pen of the unsurpassed Jackie DeShannon - still excited a song heard after five consecutive times. Other highlights include definitely the last two pieces of "Go Away From My World" (great beat) and "Summer Nights" and the first-rate song "Is This What I Get For Loving You?" the musical genius Phil Spector. They belong in my opinion one of the strongest songs on this CD. Marianne's version of "Monday, Monday" by The Mamas & The Papas is a bit strange at first, it lacks the Californian summer and hippie flair of the original and it seems a bit cold. But once you get the song belongs to a little more closely, he like a but. Overall, their repertoire is very good, but you have one or two energetic Power songs in the style of z. B. Cilla Black done well. Therefore, only four out of five stars.
