In this volume, we are still subject to Darcy doubts. We see that he is tormented and made efforts on himself to change. Moreover, it is very honorable, but a little too pushed for my taste.
All original events are over and I liked how the author has treated them. Add to that his few personal ideas - new characters, performances - and it gives a good rewriting. Some lengths are noted but still the end overtakes everything.
I have hoped for a few more pages seen that the story spans three volumes but I'm still satisfied.
