This novel tells the story of three girls sent by the king of France to America to settle there and ... seventeenth century obliges evangelize the people. The aspect "adventure" of history with Indian is pleasant enough but the aspect of "religious perhaps a little too far. But it is well written and it reads very well. However, I was not passionate to the point of wanting to read more. The book was also read by my goddaughter of 11 and a half years who moderately enjoyed, she had preferred the first book of the author "of the Empire ladies."
