Having already played Pokémon Black and White (and all other editions of the franchise), I doubted whether I (yes minimal & Black 2, the differences are) really need Pokémon White 2. I have the editions but then ordered me and me just love. In what and why, please refer to the review. For simplicity, I have prepared a table of contents.

1) Quick Tour
Graphics: **** / *****
-> Very good, but only minimal changes compared to Black / White (the sea is a bit more realistic, for example), so there is no new heights, but not absolutely necessary.
Music: ***** / *****
-> Beautiful, as well as in its predecessor, but there are in addition to the old songs - these were largely maintained - some new, beautiful title, for example, in the title screen, or even in the fight against champ and important characters.
Storyline: **** / *****
-> As in black / white adult than ever, well done and complex, but this time a little more, because you (theoretically) knows the characters already, these have evolved and the last main character casts its shadow ahead. Especially if you have black / white, you can experience a few goodies here, more about that in the review.
2) Graphics
As in black / white there is not much to complain about. The Pixelligkeit was somewhat improved, the sea look more realistic (waves and so on), also the one or the other place has been embellished. Some places, such as the undersea tunnel, worth repeatedly. Generally, I can only repeat myself, all beautifully made and very fine, see further in my review to Black / White as required.
3) Music
Again I repeat myself well. The music in Pokémon has evolved incredibly, is of a monotonous fast tinnitus - albeit a catchy - became a cocktail of sounds and noises, in which I wish my life could have been so beautiful melodies all the time. Also this further in my other review.
4) Storyline
Black / White had quite innovative storyline in this regard, that there was really a not just a pretty cobbled-together frame as 'Save the world'. This time everything is a little more complex than the predecessor, the old characters are all still there (except the main protagonist, who has disappeared for some reason, these reasons we learn also, albeit late) and have evolved, perhaps have new items get - Gym Leader or Champ, Assistant - and lead our new character through Unova. Ever get one, if you will, a lot of help. This makes the game not too easy (as I gather from other reviews), but simply makes more fun. So you do not have to play the feeling, but walking around in a happy little world where you just help yourself. Is quite nice and gives a nice feeling. So, what is especially nice is the continuity, ie the course of the Games. If you have played black / white, you can now build here, one can easily transfer old teams, etc., quite early in the game, and so maybe fight with the old team, the new opponents, if you do not want to start all over again.
Back to the story. In principle, are brought out eight medals - tollere arenas than in the predecessor - and defeat the Elite Four - which have remained the same, but their rooms are chic, I think - and the Champ - which is new, but not unexpected. In addition, you still defeated Team Plasma (again), even if this is divided into pro and N Pro GCI, leading to exciting conflicts. Also a particular scene in Twin City Drake is really good made before the showdown. Team Plasma has this time a slightly different headquarters, which I also like very much. In addition to old friends and foes, the Pokémon have remained the same, but this time it has not only Unova Pokémon, but from the beginning of all ages available, distributed pretty. Granted, if you have the right to start, you can almost go through. This must be well first to; and in principle is in every game that way. So no criticism at this point, if you want it extra heavy, a single-element yes you can tinker team or the like. The criminals are this time a little tough, have wily leader and partly really strong Pokémon. You train practically automatically because the opponents are all at some level, as you do. It's challenging and fun. Did they then saved the world, you can still defeat the enemy - they are found from time to time and can fight it - you can explore the world again, surpassing his own rival, complete the collection. This time it is worth for the first time to complete the Pokédex, as hard as the job is. I do not want spoilers, but also rather lazy players can at least try to see all the Pokémon in the Unova Dex (not catch, only to see!), The triggers have a nice event.
All in all I think the storyline wonderful. You start all right, ends pretty, and after the league there are still a lot to do, bored nothing. If you liked Black / White, should access.
5) differences to Black / White
Some places look different, not uncommon for two years. Even characters have become older and more mature. The Pokémon that you can catch, have largely changed and also the levels of wild Pokémon are a little higher (at least partly). Everything seems more mature, and even if one has chewed through the previous, one should not shy away from White 2 / Black 2. The differences between the two editions are again minimal, but still a little higher than before. You have to know what you like more: Dark and modern (black) or pale and rather old-fashioned (White). Even those who buy both bored not so fast.
There is now also a medal system. In other words, you get certain achievements medals of different colors. That's pretty fun and not an easy task. To create already 50, the first hurdle, takes time. But again you need to play in general, should not be a hindrance. The events for which you get medals, are different: Once cycling or a hundred times, 10,000 steps run (goes amazingly fast!), Complete the Pokédex and win tournaments ... Sometimes light, sometimes really difficult. This new feature I really like, I am now at 142 medals, yet far from finished.
6) Is it worth buying?
In my opinion: Yes, definitely. When Black / White knew and liked, you will find here a worthy successor, who is perhaps better than the original. Old and loved - and hated - characters you meet again and fight them, the exchange between the editions is not a problem again. By Memento link can transmit the old score and so receive reminders of some of the characters. This is very nicely done, one sees, for example, as N issued in the meantime, or why the old main character is gone. So you learn all know a little closer and feels connected to them. Also used by the characters of the name of the old main character, you will also often compared to him / her, for better or worse.
If you do not know black / white, you should start with these editions, since the continuity of S2 / W2 then comes across better.
Either way: Buy! Nintendo has finally grown up.
