The stories take place in the early twentieth century and tell police adventure whose hero is not the detective but the thief. The intrigues are involved, well written and unexpected turns. Social media and survey methods described in this book no longer exist today, a century has passed since the writing of this book, which may displease or to taste increase the enjoyment of reading.

This book is fun and easy to read because the stories are shorter. We quickly developed a passion for the exploits of the burglar player and insolent. After discovering the hero we regret to leave so quickly. Fortunately, his adventures continue in a series of novels (all excellent).
