I bought this book when I was a few days at Puy, for interest in Haute-Loire region. The content is very poor and indigestible. You'd think the Haute-Loire is always the center of the world. It offers us a compilation of "slices of history": this great man had the misfortune to put a finger in Haute-Loire, such an event concerned with a somewhat farfetched, region, etc. You do not learn much that kind of anecdotal and do really think instead of this region.

This book is for me a mere political tool which aims to show that Mr. Wauquiez is interested in its electoral area in all planes. It does not really do justice to the historical profession and is in the field of history written by policies (unforgettable biographies ...). Too bad that a young Normale gets trapped in such a project and such a result.
