Positive approaches (return to the old quality), but numerous weaknesses

My main impressions:
Positives:
- Faster, cleaner pressure
- Many functions
- Good, fast support from HP via e-mail
- Good quality impression
- Effective printing without any pathogenic toner dust, as ink!

Negatives:
- Download Extreme problems when setting up the Mac had (completely new Printer Driver -> If you only need the printer per se, not the HP programs, can be the MAC printer set up that works without problems without the HP CD If you want to, however. the HP Scan programs etc., you need the HP CD, then download the current package ...)
- Same problems setting up Windows XP (as a virtual machine on VMWare Fusion 3 on Mac, here helped only the manual setting up the printer with the printer drivers from the CD on the Windows Printer Setup)

My main criticisms that have been expressed already and I have to confirm, unfortunately:
- Contrary to the application (pigmented ink, instant dry, blah) the black ink blurs quite strong, even a day later. The response from the HP support after some back and forth I have attached below.
- Through the blur of black ink there for duplex printing sometimes black smudges, so this function with business letters for me actually not usable, so pay full price for something unnecessary!
-. In the Mac at least 1 cm margin except photo printing, only with the XP drivers comes standard with a margin of 0.3 cm (This is followed works of support just hope..)

HP response to smear:
'How could you even notice, blurred just black, but not the color.
Black has a different composition. That's the cause. Here are no pigments, so this ink will always blur the Above wiping with your fingers.
So it's not a paper problem (which we already cleared) nor any of its unused cartridge.
One tip I can give here, however:
To print in black, please do not set the printer driver that you want to print with only the black cartridge.
In this case, color is printed (mainly yellow) to black and can be reached by the shares of this pigment ink better smudge resistance. Full smudge proof will never black here. This is a device or ink typical feature here. '

Toll ... Here I feel a little kidding, I bought the printer for the favorable and allegedly achso good original ink ....
