Power from the can

For Mac users like me it has always been a household word - and also signified a nasty discrediting: A DOS computers was a "box", misshapen, unaesthetic, unwieldy, a computer for officials and wall unit owners brand "Gelsenkirchen Baroque".

Now the Acer Revor One is actually a can. With amazing dimensions: 15.5 cm high, each about 10.5 cm wide and deep, white, painted, soft rounded. Almost like an Apple product. Somehow sympathetic. And yes, I am very impressed. About the technical details, I would like here not miss. The stand in the product description. What interests me is the possible application. As with the Mac: not brood, but get started. Plug & play.

Realization: This little thing is a power device used for mobile use, it takes up to 6 TB of data on. I see the Revo One in the first place. Not as a desktop PC, but as a portable hard drive Some areas of application examples:

- Presentation of extensive data (films, layouts, concepts) in discussions with customers about Beamer
- Movie nights with friends (bring your favorite movies)
- Robust Erstrechner for children's rooms
- Back-up with current access to Travel
- Hard disk for extensive film library
