I bought the voltage converter for charging mobile phones and digital cameras in the car and for that he is best suited. The open circuit voltage is 240 V in my copy, our four different power supplies have but coped easily.
The fan is buzzing, yes, even without load. The build quality is something easy, the 230V socket is a combined format, but accepted German flat and safety plug; therefore only 4 points.
Served its purpose for occasional use.
