Comparable flashlights there are few on the market, and if so, they are significantly more expensive and usually considerably larger and heavier. Whereby the TN32 is anything but compact and lightweight. In my case it is the largest and heaviest lamp in my collection (about 800 g ready), at the same time but also to one of the specimens with the most fun.
Processing is probably subject to greater variations, I was lucky enough to buy a flawless copy, in which the lighting levels Ring runs as smooth as silk and the Bezel is precisely centered.
There is to complain about but also something: Unfortunately, as so often in the battery cage ThruNite is somewhat problematic. With most available on the market protected 18650 batteries, the lamp can not operate because the cage with inserted batteries is too thick for the battery tube. The ThruNite batteries fit easily, but you should the new 3.400er (red / white version) avoid because they are not resistant to high current. The favorable ThruNite batteries with 3,200 mAh are much more powerful.
If you have a SupBeam or AceBeam X40, can use their battery cage and battery tube with the TN32, because the lamps probably come from the same original equipment manufacturers. The advantage lies in the unlimited possibility of using 18650 battery, the same then you have the opportunity charging directly into the lamp.
Another important note: The TN32 has no warning function entlandene batteries. Thus, there is a risk that the batteries are empty sucked mercilessly, with all the associated risks in Li-ion batteries now there is time. I strongly advise to the TN32 to operate only with protected battery (PCB).
What annoyed me that my mid-February delivered TN32 was not supplied in the case, but only in a cardboard box. Now, one month later, the lamp continues to be advertised with product images, including luggage. I do not know if I've just been unlucky or whether ThruNite has just forgotten here match the description on Amazon. Ultimately, I can do without the suitcase, after all, it is primarily about the lamp and is really highly recommended.
