My requirements were primarily a long battery life, light weight and small size.
In addition, it should bring some gaming performance, as I am a casual gamer.
The battery life of around 8 hours have taken a little high when you use Office and Internet the battery lasts me about 6-6.5 hours (which is a very good value is still).
The weight is acceptable with about 2kg, dimensions 376x22x252mm are already relatively high for an Ultrabook. (I knew that already but before buying)
Very pleasantly surprised I am of the gaming performance, Starcraft 2 and COD MW 3 run through liquid.
Furthermore I like the processing, which is very stable and feels comfortable.
Negative I feel, however, the touchpad buttons are integrated here and not separately mounted underneath.
A very big minus is the software salad of Acer delivers here, when the system first were about 90 processes running on.
The system is full of bloatware. Too bad, here it would be better off with a bare system.
The device offers a few Anschlüssmöglichkeiten: 1x sound input / output, 1x Gigabit LAN port, 1x HDMI and 3 USB ports (including 1x USB3.0)
I submit these connections that need but everyone can decide for themselves.
Overtemperatures I can not give as much information, although it gets pretty hot during gaming, but because you have the device actually not be so on the lap. For less demanding applications, the device remains very quiet and cool.
In summary:
+ Power
+ Processing
+ Keyboard
+ Battery life
- Touchpad
- Unnecessary Software
For the price of around 800 Ultrabook, however, a strong buy recommendation, especially if you provide the same requirements for the Ultrabook like me.
Deduction also there for the software and the trash badly made touchpad.
