Two criticisms I have, that require a star deduction for me absolutely:
1. The price is very steep for a simple screw with integrated bracket. She's not handmade platinum, right?
2. For the rapid snapping of the carabiner, it would in my opinion, an advantage if the mounting bracket would not be anchored so easy, but as the original Manfrotto Strap sitting somewhat stiffer in the anchorage. That would be when the manifold mounting plate on the tripod advantageous because the stirrup so falls back into a vertical position and sometimes interferes with the immediate, plane resting the plate on the plate holder. Is only a matter of seconds (split), but z. B. with a nature photo these moments can be decisive when changing from Freehand on tripod ...
As always, just my opinion, I do like to disabuse. ;-)
+++ Edit December 2013: +++
The first purchased version still performs impeccably and super correct their service, but see item 2 (too loosely anchored mounting bracket).
Meanwhile (12/2013) I have gained another screw for an additional camera and lo and behold: The mounting bracket is relatively well anchored and not slackens around if I want to put the camera on the tripod. A belated praise to Blackrapid So, maybe I was the first time bad luck or manufacturers such criticisms has been taken to heart.
But due to the relatively more very high price for a small screw, it remains at a star deduction, which I personally now tend to 4.5 stars.
