Before I talk about the actual game, I want to briefly write something for quality of the content of the limited edition (the exact content you will not find already in the product description).
However, the art book is my feeling after, not really high, the drawings contained therein quite nice. The situation is similar with the bonus DVD. The contents are quite nice, but in my eyes nothing earth-shattering. The "in-game goodies" have me as even more pleasing because they help you get started in the game and are often helpful later in the game. Overall, the additional content is therefore quite well, but in my view not a "must-have".
Because the Limited Edition however, is slightly more expensive than the regular version and I find the packaging of the game very nice (much more precious than a normal X-Box 360 game case), I do not regret to have paid a little more.
Now for the most important ... the game.
In Deus Ex is an action role-playing game from the first person perspective. (For cover, climbing ladders and melee) Only a few actions the view changes, so you Adam Jensen (the main protagonist) sees.
Deus Ex is a mixture of the gameplay elements stealth, combat, hacking and dialogues. For each of these directions there are many different augmentations (improvements that you can make, once you have collected enough experience points), to further promote the particular style of play. None of these augmentations seem superfluous, but has (depending on the style of play) its raison d'être.
More RPG elements upgrading of weapons and the numerous dialogues that is carried out. These are designed predominantly very interesting and turn out to be in some places as a right highlights. In these situations, you have to try its opposite of something to convince or to elicit the information and has to very carefully to the words of the interlocutor, but also on his, pay attention to these dialogues to positively shape.
In connection with the dialogue I would like to address the German dubbing. I liked the most votes very good and I really have to think twice when I had so rarely frown the last time, in a "Syncro" for a game. But in the same breath I must mention also the first negative aspect. Because as good speakers are so bad the lip sync. This is in fact actually not given and tarnishes somewhat the really good impression.
Another negative aspect is the technology of the game. This seems a bit dusty in the age of Gears of War, Battlefield and Co.. Especially in the dialogues the faces look pretty "mask-like" and show little to no emotion. Furthermore, the animations of the game characters sometimes a bit wooden, except for the "melee takedowns" of Adam Jensen, the turn out very smooth and varied.
Very positive on the design of the game world is in itself. This is designed with great attention to detail, with beautiful lighting effects, breathtaking panoramas (a dystopian future) and thus spread a great "cyberpunk atmosphere", which literally sucks into one in the game world.
Moreover, round the successful soundtrack of the game and the good story of the game from the dense atmosphere completely.
Even the hacking of PCs unveiled (in the form of emails) often more details to the gaming world and allows so that the player learns more about this world.
At this point I also want to mention that the hacking, as so often, a Dröge "mini-game" is not, but very exciting and is designed demanding and therefore remains the overall game about interesting.
In my mind, the greatest strength of Deus Ex but especially the level design, and the ability to solve each mission and each room in different ways.
As an example, I would like to describe a game situation shortly.
(Minimal spoilers)

Namely, one should penetrate at a location in a hotel to data on a PC ensure. Arriving at the hotel, security guards block the main entrance. One could now of course simply "shoot" the way, but there is also the possibility of different (partly well hidden) penetrate ventilation shafts in the building or climb on an outside of the hotel a ladder on the roof, above the lift shaft of the hotel to enter the building.

And so really designed each game situation, almost always are many paths to the goal.
So you have to do to get around slowly / the possibility either to fight or opponent, sometimes you can solve situations with dialogues or PCs hack to disable cameras or use guns against opponents and much more ... the possibilities that the Players are on offer truly immense.
Certainly I could have written about this game a lot more, but I hope I also hereby could allow you a little insight into my gaming experience.
Ultimately, it can be said therefore that Deus Ex 'Human Revolution makes a lot of things right, and me as a fan of the first Deus Ex (in 2000) was incredibly fun and still does.
Certainly the technology is not necessarily up to date (might indeed a "running gag" the developers have ... all previous Deus Ex - parts "shone" with outdated technology ...) and a few things are annoying (missing Lippensyncronität example) ,
However, the atmosphere of this dystopian world, the philosophical questions that are raised, the great dialogues, the great soundtrack, the motivational level design makes that invites to experiment and much more, this is more than compensated.
