Limp Bizkit are to grow up ;-) First sounds "results may vary" unusually quiet and thoughtful for the 5 guys. The songs are mostly quiet and melodic, with very good lyrics by Fred. That all this has no longer the "power" of "Chocolat Starfish" is likely to deter many, but this is not necessarily negative. Since the third LP imo Limp read almost to the complete commerce and small children down the road and hopped "Keep Rulin, Rulin ...." singing, I can not say that this bothers me step away from total mainstream. The first three numbers rocking ever so correct, then it is very quiet, a lot of ballads, perhaps too many. Finally, there's then with "Behind Blue Eyes" even an absolute Oberhammer. One of the most beautiful ballads ever made, in my opinion. All in all, "results may vary" not a typical LB album. Many quiet, pensive songs, all very melodic and professional. Toll played instruments, an ever improving singer ..... all this does not make the LP a highlight, but for the nu-metal-commerce followers.
