Here are the positives that I found after about 4-5 months of use:
-the quick start (at least compared to my old computer with Windows 7)
-l'interface easy enough Windows 8.1
-the battery (you can watch a movie of 2 hours on just battery runs out and only 50%)
-The performance in games
-the capacity of the hard drive (although its total capacity is approximately 1.8 TB and 2 TB non)
-the various ports (USB, HDMI, Ehernet, SD, audio output, Blu-Ray player ...)
-The back and mouse bag supplied with the computer
And this for regular use (1 to 3 hours per day).
However, this computer greatly disappoints me in a few areas:
-The WiFi works only once in three (I have to connect my computer via an Ethernet cable to a router to a speed "correct"!) and even when connected, the speed is extremely slow ( several minutes to load a Google search!)
-The USB ports, mouse provided in the lot disconnects regularly, as my external hard drive that is first recognized by the computer, and then mysteriously are no longer read and then they reconnect again! It's very frustrating especially when playing online.
-The Blu-Ray: I thought I could use it with software like VLC or even Windows Media Player but it is mandatory to purchase specialized software to play Blu-Ray. Too bad.
So much for defects that is, I find, are a serious handicap for this computer.
