+ Packaging: Neat and well
+/- Appearance / design: Unpretentious - that is very simple and (the price payable) very cheap materials. The materials irritate me less, I like the exterior otherwise prefer to clear / straight contours (subjective feelings). The build quality is sturdy and has no effect but unstable.
+ Manual: understandable and necessary to read it, when it comes to special settings because you have to press button combinations.
+ Service ...
. * If you just want to make coffee simple: bean starch and cup volume.
. * Steam (hot water) is based on a knob - comes from a steam nozzle which is right and pivotally.
+ Water tank is right, mounted extendable forward. Level can be seen on the right. Very fine! (A water filter is not designed for the tank.)
+ Footprint: Top only the flap for bean filling is necessary, here you have to the amount still to expect about 15 to 20 cm; with me, the device can also be under a wall cabinet.
Left about 15 cm are necessary since otherwise the service door (removal marc container, and brewing unit) can not open.
Right should be a few inches square, since otherwise the water level can not see.
In principle, all service activities are (see water filling, pomace, brewer remove) forward to make, only the beans filling works from above.
I find generally good solved!
+ Maintenance: The whole machine has a brewing unit, which can also be found regularly need / want and clean (1x per month is recommended). It is located front left, by opening a service door. Interior cleaning is relatively easily possible (soft cloth, brush, or even vacuum cleaner is recommended. However, I manage the Opinion | Vacuums and think it's neat enough.)
For the decalcification advises DeLonghi to own brand. 1 bottle of it is included! (-> 3 x DeLonghi SER 3018 EcoDecalk Entkalker)
The descaling process takes at least 45 minutes and it is highly advisable to have at hand the operating instructions, since so self-explanatory that everything is not.
+/- Water hardness setting:
The device is factory set to * very hard * water that meets at my about, however, I use filtered water, which means that I have to put on soft water hardness * manually *, otherwise very often very often triggered the descaling would be. For instructions, is not intuitive vornehmbar, to a combination of buttons must be pressed
,
Set + water temperature is also possible with a button combination (according to instruction).
+ Tassenfüllvolumen ...
... Is einstallbar with a knob. Super easy - super comfortable.
* Lowest setting (about 8 clock) is 25 milliliters (if one takes preheated cups, you can even order something like Ristretto prepare)
* Greatest fill volume (approximately 16 clock) is 190 milliliters (ie full coffee cup)
* Medium setting (12 clock) gives 110ml (= normal coffee cup) - with bean starch at the highest level is a well-intentioned strong Lungo I prefer.
+ Bean starch ...
... Adjusted with a knob.
+ Hot water draw
With rotary knob and its own nozzle (right). Very simple and the water is hot enough for tea.
+ Steam dispensing:
With the right rotary knob. It requires a little warm-up time until the nozzle is so far and they should have the respect immersed in the foamed milk before (otherwise mess).
- / + Frothing milk:
Have some tests done and foamed milk 100ml in a small pot. The problem: Until the milk is foamed as they would like (takes 15 to 20 seconds before) come in addition to milk 30 milliliters of water is added. The milk foam tastes watered down and falls quickly together.
I have verified several times and found no way to improve the process.
The result of frothed milk convinced of the optics just for a short period, and diluted flavor does not improve the result unfortunately.
Yes, with this fully automatic milk frothing is actually very simple and without too much effort to flush the procedure possible, but unfortunately the result does not convince me.

However, since the coffee is good and tidy, the filling good and easily adjustable, and the maintenance is also no great difficulties, I find these easy fully automatic still remarkably well. One can also refer several cups of coffee one after so well. Water tank refill and spent coffee container must be logically often filled or emptied accordingly.

,
TIP! -> My theory, at least since the use zigten Barista Fully automatic for more than 1000 Öcken, is anyway:
If you want to have decent coffee-milk-based drinks (latte, cappuccino ...) then it does a good (favorable) Fully automatic, the annual coffee spits - including a good espresso as well as a reasonable Ristretto! - Plus one buys then a separate milk frothing (Aeroccino / Bodum-foamer / Battery-powered Milchquirrl (milk before warming up in micro) ... because everyone has their own preference ... and so you can also prepare very good latte or cappuccino.
For offices this fully automatic machine is in any case not intended for manual, not be ruled out but it is still interesting for smaller departments / two-man offices or something ... absolutely! If you then also keep an eye on is the regular filling of water tank and drain the pulp container, you get a decent device for it.
Even in a single household, the machine can score compared with a pad machine, because the beans are cheaper, the device is just as quickly operational as a pad machine and you have so few options in stock, but also a bit more maintenance ( In addition, one should always bear in mind when purchasing a every fully automatic.)

LONG-TERM EXPERIENCE, after some cleaning of the brew group:
(+) The small brewing unit can be easily removed and just as easily cleaned. Inside, no appreciable wear recognizable.
