The operating noise has in my opinion, in contrast to the "predecessor", much improved.
If one of the projectors on ECO / and Cinema Mode to, the projector is really only in quiet scenes to "listen", but not interfere. It is at a constant buzz.
The remote control has been increased and their keys now shine in a pleasant red clay.
The lighting can be switched on manually, but shall enter into force with other commands, such as loud or Silent.
A great, but also long overdue improvement.
The menu has also been improved and optically polished.
Even beginners find their way quickly and can make any changes quickly.
The lens shift function is good, but very limited.
The projected image can be adjusted using a small screw, which is located above the lens to move horizontally about 10 cm.
Legal flexible one is thus not in the lineup, however, is a lens shift in such a price range rather a rarity.
I particularly enjoyed the zoom factor of the device, which has created in my quite small living room, on a short distance of 2.20m, an image of 85 inches.
Since I have a pitched roof, I have to make do with relatively small distance that exists.
The seat distance from the screen is 3.20m.
The built-in box in the housing, namely delivers surprisingly good sound, but even at the lowest level is too loud and thus drills into the eardrum of the listener and the hearts of the neighbors ....
If this can still help out BenQ (Firmware Update or similar), the box would be a successful option for normal television or gaming.
However, a proper sound system replaced the box in any way.
The reason why I had a heavy heart the projector return again, was the existing rainbow effect, which especially in a dark trailer (Evil Dead - 2013) has shown or dark film credits.
One could say yes, hell with the effect and stay with the device, but unfortunately I get a headache after a few minutes of the effect.
Can you look at this not thinking away.
Even a higher brightness and contrast have decreased only slightly shaken the effect.
The RB-effect, however, DLP typical, which is why the W1070 this is not directly the buck may be slipped.
The perception and actual perception of this effect varies from person to person.
Some do not see him, the other.
Who can "ignore" over the rainbow effect, which gets delivered an unbeatable offer with the BenQ W 1070 (+).
